A typical 28 Thali arrives with 5 to 6 separately packed dishes, along with everything needed to enjoy your meal wherever you are.

  • Biodegradable Meal Containers

    Dal, sabji, rice and other main preparations are packed separately in 350 ml biodegradable round containers.

  • Food-Safe Side Containers

    Raita, salad, sweets and accompaniments are packed in separate food-safe containers suited to what is being served.

  • Roti & Paratha Pouch

    Roti, paratha and other dry items are packed in a thin butter paper pouch, away from wet dishes.

  • Tamper-Sealed Meal Bag

    All meal containers are organised inside a brown paper bag and secured with a tamper-evident seal before delivery.

  • Labelled Outer Carry Bag

    The sealed brown bag is placed inside a white non-plastic carry bag, with the customer and delivery details clearly labelled outside.

  • Cutlery & Wet Wipe

    A sugarcane bagasse spoon and fork, along with a NESTA premium wet wipe, are packed with your meal.

  • Branded Welcome Bag

    New customers, or deliveries that require it, may also receive a separate branded 28 Thali paper carry bag with our QR code and relevant information.

Tested for Daily Delivery

Your thali travels through real Mumbai delivery routes, so the packaging has to perform beyond the kitchen.

Our containers are tested with water for spill resistance, while each 350 ml container holds around 250 ml of food to leave room for secure closing and help reduce overflow during delivery.
